We were recently invited to an event at a local organic farm to learn more about organic food production. However we are unable to make the event, so instead I have been fortunate enough to receive a copy of the Discover Organic cook book.

The recipes look divine and over the next few weeks I will be trying some out and sharing them with you!

To help me celebrate my blog bonanza they have also donated 5 Discover Organic cook book’s for me to give away!

    My family is in love with the slow cooker because they get a great meal when I get home from work without having to wait. We love all kinds of stews cooked in it but our favourite is burgandy beef.

    We love pasta salad with chicken strips, I cook the chicken as normal then just slice into strips, add it into the salad, with a pasta, usually swirly shapes as they are our favourites, its a quick easy dinner to prepare, & if there’s any left overs it does for the lunch boxes next day.

    Pasta based. Frozen mixed veg, cooked so they still crunchy, ham or cooked bacon ripped up. Mix all together with the pasta and top with home made cheese sauce.  Simple, good for you and everyone likes it.

    My Favourite family dinner recipe has to be spaghetti.. I always take my time making the sauce and let it stand for several hours to take in the flavours of the herbs and wine. It is always a hit with friends and family and is a weekly staple in our house. Can’t go wrong with making it and very enjoyable to eat!
