Babies and toddlers are particularly awkward to buy for as you don’t want to spend a fortune on things that they may not even get round to using/playing with.

Kiddicare

We are very fortunate to be Kiddicare bloggers and I know we’re a bit slacking but I’m very grateful for the opportunity they gave me when I first started blogging.

This Christmas they have some amazing toys for all ages but better than that they are offering 3 for 2 on all Kiddicare toys in its Buzzing Brains, Sunny Safari and Woodland collections. This is a perfect way to treat the family whilst saving some pennies.

Kiddicare’s 342 toy promotion runs 5th November to 2nd December 2013 inclusive, in-store, online and via the Kiddicare mobile app.

Some of our favourite Kiddcare toys are:

The Heritage Stable Collection From Little Bird Told Me

This item is my budget blower across all our guides but is just too beautiful not too include.

Meet Jasper:

Jasper Rocking Horse

Jasper features a classic woven check fabric in shades of chocolate and has a stylised leatherette saddle with stirrups to support little ones. His soft and scrunchy mane and tail are made from strokeable faux suede and he stands proudly on a sturdy wooden bow rocking base.

He is part of The Heritage Stable Collection from Little Bird Told Me. They have taken their expertise and made a traditional but contemporary range. Jasper retails at around £200 so it is really a wow factor present but if you had the money and the space in your nursery he would make an amazing addition.

The Heritage Stable Collection will be available from November 2013, last date for website orders in time for a Christmas delivery is the 18th December.

Poco Nido Suede Soled Baby Shoes

Poco Nido shoes are the one thing you want on your littles ones feet this Christmas to complete the look! Made out of cotton with a suede sole they are simply gorgeous shoes in different designs to those you’ll see on the high street and priced at £16.00 they are reasonable priced too!

Rainbow Muslins

If you’ve just had a little one or someone you know is expecting a baby and would like to get a more practical gift then look no further than the gorgeous rainbow muslins from Faye & Lou . Muslin cloths have a wide variety of uses and are my must have for mums and new mums and the Faye & Lou muslins are possibly the most cheerful muslins your going to get!

rainbow_selection

The are made from luxuriously soft, 100% cotton muslin. These are made from 2 layers of muslin, making them highly absorbent plus the colour keeps them looking bright rather than the dull grey the white ones can go. A 4 pack come in at £16.00 but they will be used so much the money would be well spent!

Old Bear stories by Jane Hissey

We recently reviewed our first Old Bear story – Jolly Snow and after reading this we can’t wait to read more from the range such as Old Bear & Ruby, Blue and Blanket. All of the stories are perfect for those snuggly evenings with your little ones.

For more information on each story or others in the range have a look at Jane Hissey’s site here.

Plod Ons

This is the first time I’ve come across Plod Ons but they are one of those items I wish were around when Kayleigh and Ethan were little. You know when your little one starts crawling and you either end up with burns on the knees if they are trouser-less or holes in the trousers.

Plod Ons Pink Spot

Made from a lovely soft and stretchy cotton, Plod Ons fit snugly over tiny knees without restricting movement. Plus they come in a range of funky colours and designs! At just £5.99 they are perfect stocking fillers for little ones.

Peppa Pig Sing and Learn Microphone

Is your little one Peppa Pig made? What about a Peppa Pig Sing and Learn Microphone.

sing-and-learn-microphone

I know, I know…. your probably thinking giving a little one a microphone is just asking for trouble and that is true it is.

However this one is more than just a microphone. It features music from the show as well as three great activities: music mode, song mode and quiz. Turn the rim to select songs or tunes and your child can sing along to the nursery rhymes with Peppa and her friends. Available from Smyths or Tescos.
