Last week was just one of those weeks…
A combination of sickness in the house delayed my running till midweek however an injury i substained whilst playing silly buggers has mean’t I’ve not run since.
I have somehow managed to damage my achiles tendon, not sure quiet what I’ve done but for the last week I’ve only been able to hobble on it so running is completeley our of the question.
I’m getting a little frustrated now too. It was all going so well with me running over 1.3 miles every day at a constant pace which also mean’t I could run a sub 10 minute mile.
I know its not much to most people but from running no where to running this daily was a huge achievement for me and now I have to sit and rest my foot as much as I can which isn’t easy whilst working 5 days a week and having 2 children to look after.
Hopefully by the weekend or early next week I can be back out on the road, I have a wedding dress to get into and this is not helping!
I never thought I’d say this but I’m actually looking forward to getting back out on the road and just putting my headset on and forgetting about any stresses I have by pushing myself to the limit.
