For me with the wedding coming up, my health and fitness is starting to go up a notch (apart from days like today when I’m running on a few hours sleep)
So when I got the chance to be part of the Real Mums of All-Bran 5-Day Challenge with Brit Mum’s I couldn’t wait to see if it could help beat the bloat and make me feel a bit better from the inside out.
Lets face it, most of us complain about our tummies after having children and lots of us suffer with bloating. I’m the same, if I get worked up or upset my tummy bloats and if I eat anything too spicy when its playing up I can end up looking about 6 months pregnant!
I took delivery of 3 yummy flavours, Golden Crunch, Red Berry Crunch and chocolate wheat’s.
The challenge was simple, 1 bowl of All-Bran every morning to see if it can help beat the bloat and make you feel good from the inside out.
I have to admit the golden crunch were my least favourite however the chocolate wheat’s we’re delicious and the whole household ate them, an easy way to ensure we all get enough fibre!
Breakfast is a funny thing in this household as at work I tend to grab whatever I can get on the go and at weekends I tend to pass on breakfast as I’m running around doing one thing or another.
I did however try to keep to my 5 day challenge (even if the recommended portion size was way smaller than I’m used to, now I know why I fail at diets) and I have to say I did notice an improvement in my tummy. I felt less bloated and more comfortable.
One thing I did like was if you sign up to the 5 day challenge on the All-Bran site you get email reminders, tips and can track your tummy progress.
Simple things such as changing your breakfast routine can make a big difference to the way you feel, why not give it a try and see if you notice a difference.
