Morning everyone and welcome back to Wise Words Wednesday.
We have been very lucky to have met bloggers from so many different genre of blog and today is no different. We have Kim in the hotseat and she blogs over at The CEO of URself which is a new blog just starting out. I will leave it to Kim to introduce her blog and tell us a little about her blogging journey.
Tell us a little bit about you & your blog:
Well I am the former CEO & Founder of Bold Radio Station, I currently a new blogger of “the CEO of URself” a blog that is about Spiritual Success with one’s self and Faith. I am a published #1 international best-selling author, speaker and business consultant.
What inspired you to start blogging?
Well I could say me, but it was God back in January I was going through some transitions and not feeling good about it, and I felt this huge pull from my soul to start writing about this, others are wanting to hear this, so I wrote and launched a blog.
What has been your highlight of blogging?
Meeting other bloggers, a whole new world for me and building these relationships. Also learning about the blogging world.
Is there anything you have learnt about blogging which you wish you knew when you started out?
Not yet, I am still fairly new. I have hired a coach to help me stay focused and speed up this learning curve so I don’t waste time and money. There is so much to understand and learn.
Bloggers sometimes get a lot of stick however many work really hard and are reaping the rewards, what has been the most rewarding part of blogging for you?
The growth of me so far in my words. I used to say I am not a writer, LOL and yes I am a published author-multiple times. I am open to growing more in divine time and forming collaborations/relationships along the way.
What would be your 1 tip you would give all new bloggers starting out?
Just write on something that you are so passionate about, get into FB groups and connect with other experienced bloggers. Hire a mentor, go to conference and connect. Make sure you have $ to invest into your business, Blogging is a business just like anything else.
Who do you find inspiring to read/watch in the blogging world?
I am still discovering bloggers to follow. I like a spiritual base type blog and they are hard to find
Lastly – do you have any big plans/dreams for your blog in the next 12 months?
Oh yes, I plan on having two very successful blogs and this success is based upon helping and inspiring others, both blogs will be generating a revenue, I also would love to work with agencies for product reviews, and other type campaigns. But most of all, I really want to serve others faithfully!
