We will hopefully be getting some sunshine during the holidays and Sun-Pat have launched a great competition this summer for your chance to win a sports kits to help keep the kids active this summer!

The Sun-Pat Fuelling Families campaign are giving away 420 sports kids. Each kit comes with a football, cricket set and skipping rope and is packaged in a convenient bag, perfect for those trips to a local park.

On top of that they also have a great guide that you can download, with 42 different activities for you to do over the holidays. There are some great suggestions on there, such as pitching up a tent in the garden for your own camping experience, without being too far from home.

With this being my first summer holiday at home we are planning on making the most of the free activities you can do. We have done a summer holiday bucket list (our post will be published next week!) and on this list, is lots of fun free things you can do.

One of our favourite things to do with the children, it is something that we have done since they were small, is to head to our local National Trust woods. Once there we go on a bit of an explore around the woods. Finding new bugs, flowers, animals and climbing the biggest tree’s they can find.

We are also trying to keep as active as possible.

So, we are not lying in too late, we are up and out the door taking the dogs for a walk whilst the kids scoot along. We’ve also been out on the bikes and are hoping if the weather stays nice to head to the park and enjoy a picnic and some sports.

Sun-Pat kindly sent us over one of their fab sports kits to use this summer. All of it perfect to encourage the whole family to get outdoors and get active during the holidays.

Make sure you pop over to the Sun-Pat site for your chance to win and download their great guide for keeping you all entertained and active during the summer break.

What is your favourite way to keep the kid’s active during the summer holidays?
