Back to school with Hartley’s

Hartley's Jelly - Back to school

It’s the weekend and if your little ones have returned to school this week I hope everyone has settled back in ok!

With the return to school, comes the whole sage of getting back into the swing of school lunches. As we have fussy eaters we have stuck to good old pack lunches to make sure they eat a variety of the food they need with little fuss. Plus, we know exactly how much they have eaten as the leftovers get sent back in the lunch bag!

Hartley's Jelly - Back to school

Our school has strict rules on what can and can’t be sent in their bags, so basically anything that contains sugar and is a treat is a no go. However, they are allowed Hartley jelly and thankfully they have a no added sugar version, making it perfect for lunch boxes!

If you don’t want to make a big bowl of jelly, Hartley’s do their jelly in 6 individual pots, these come in both the normal and sugar free version. With the choice of strawberry, raspberry, orange, pineapple, blackcurrant and lemon & lime there is sure to be a flavour that suits your family.

What is also great is the offer that Hartley’s are running. Collect 12 green lids from the promotional packs and you can get your own lunchbox and stickers to personalise it, perfect for little ones.

Thankfully both Kayleigh and Ethan are in the same school now so they use their lunch and break times to have a catch up. It is great that they get on so well but as they are so close in age they have a pool of friends from both their year groups that all get on so well.

I can imagine when they all get together there is not a chance to get a word in edgeways! On our first day, in the playground I heard one little girl telling her friend that she was so pleased to see here and this was the best day of her life!

Hartley’s have teamed up with child expert Sam Wass to share the topics of conversations that come up when little ones get together. The topics that came up were education, family and not surprisingly food! You can watch the super cute short videos here, this is the same place you can claim your free lunchboxes!
