*Review* Nerf N-Strike Elite AccuStrike RaptorStrike Blaster

We are huge Nerf fans in this house, on the last count up we had 10 in our house.

So when the kids got offered the chance to review the Nerf N-Strike Elite AccuStrike RaptorStrike Blaster I knew they were going to be super excited. The delivery however arrived whilst the kids were at school and the big kid in this house (Aka Daddy Vs Work) got his hands on it first, claiming it as his!

This Nerf gun is huge, we have some that are quiet big but not this big! If it is on the list this Christmas Santa is going to need to leave it next to the tree as it won’t fit underneath it.

In the box you receive:

  • 18 Darts
  • 2 clips
  • The bolt
  • Bipod

The clips are a great addition as it can fire through the darts pretty quick and for little children like Ethan the bipod is perfect for helping him keep it steady whilst firing. To use the actual Nerf blaster itself is really uncomplicated, there is no fiddly bits to get it set to fire the darts either. Ethan is 7 and was able to reload and use it on his own.

We set up a shooting range across our living room using bottles and empty toilet rolls on one side and everyone else lined up for their go at the dining table. The blaster is quiet powerful in its shots however it doesn’t hurt any more than normal if you get caught by one. It comes with new darts which are designed to help it fire more acuratly however it does still fire the other Nerf darts that we have.

This Nerf N-Strike Elite AccuStrike RaptorStrike Blaster has been a huge hit in our house, so much so that the kids reloaded their other guns ready for a Nerf fight yesterday, leaving Daddy Vs Work with just this on to fight back! .
