It’s Wednesday and that means only one thing! Time to welcome a new blogger back to the hot seat and take time to answer our Wise Words Wednesday questions. Today we have Natalie from Crazy Little Thing Called Love kindly taking time out to answer our questions.
I love the fact that her blog started with her journey on dating and has now evolved as she has found love, that is what blogging is all about 🙂
Time to hand over to Natalie to take you through her blogging journey.
Tell us a little bit about you & your blog:
Hi there my name is Natalie generally known as Nat. I blog over at crazy little thing called love.
What inspired you to start blogging?
My blog was inspired by my dating stories~some good, some bad and some quite frankly hilarious! Following one particular funny date my friends persuaded me that I should share my stories and begin a blog. I love to write and after a few Ammaretto’s with the girls crazy little thing was born.
What has been your highlight of blogging?
The highlight of blogging so far has to be, being given the chance to review certain things and participate in challenges particularly as I am reasonably new to it all.
Is there anything you have learnt about blogging which you wish you knew when you started out?
When I first started I just signed up, wrote some things down and hoped for the best. I wish I had known about the power of social media for sharing my blog as I feel that I would of used those platforms quicker along with my blog page.
Bloggers sometimes get a lot of stick however many work really hard and are reaping the rewards, what has been the most rewarding part of blogging for you?
The most rewarding part of blogging for me is sharing my experiences, engaging with others and realising that people enjoy what I am writing and sharing.
What would be your 1 tip you would give all new bloggers starting out?
My one tip I would give to new bloggers starting out would be to write from the heart, be honest and truthful. Your passion for what you are sharing will shine through. In my experience it’s easier to connect with those whom you can relate to, this will lead to people wanting to follow your journey and be interested in you and your blog.
Who do you find inspiring to read/watch in the blogging world?
As a general rule I enjoy following bloggers who blog about real life experiences, they are down to earth and are easy to relate to.
Lastly – do you have any big plans/dreams for your blog in the next 12 months?
My dream for my blog would be to grow it and eventually earn some regular money from it.
My blog has changed already from when I started back in April 2017
The dating apps have gone and I have found love but one thing that continues to grow and evolve is my passion for writing, capturing and sharing my experiences.
