*Review* Hotel Chocolat Extra Thick Easter Egg

If you read this blog you will know by now that I (we!) love chocolate! So when Hotel Chocolat got in touch to see if we would like to review one of their extra thick chocolate eggs I was not going to say no!

I decided to go with their You Crack Me Up extra thick egg as I thought this one is most likely to appeal to the kids as well (Yup you heard me right, I am going to share with the kids!)

When this arrived I admit to being amazed, it looked fantastic and what was inside didn’t disappoint.

The egg was huge and each of the 2 parts of the eggs had 6 chocolates hidden in each part which we’re amazing faces, bunnies, runny eggs, dippy solders. defiantly one for the children at heart here.

Although it is an extra thick egg, the sides are noticeably thicker than the rest of the eggs, but don’t let this take anything away from the egg. Its made of 40% milk chocolate which is lovely and creamy just as you would expect plus all the additional chocolates are full of flavour too.

I think another thing that add’s to this egg is its packaging. It isn’t just dumped in a box with a bit of plastic. It’s lovingly placed in the box and tied with a bow. It’s like a present in itself!

At £26 an egg they are quiet pricey but if you’re looking to make someone feel special this easter, this is the way to do it! Lets face it the sometimes you just need that extra special easter gifts to make someone’s day.
