Our Christmas Playlist!

Brit Mums and Coca Cola have teamed up to challenge bloggers to come up with their favourite Christmas playlist. One that will help designated drivers get into the festive mood.

Coca Cola and its special Designated Driver programme. You can use their interactive Pub Finder to find places where Designated Drivers can enjoy 2-for-1 Coke and Diet Coke when out with friends – find out more here! So for all those drivers this Christmas make sure you enjoy your treat when out and about as a thank you for keeping the roads safe this Christmas!

So here you go – This is my top 5 in reverse order!

5 – Wizzard – I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday

This is one of those Christmas songs which it is a crime not to dance to! Even after all these years the children of today know the words! Most definitely a playlist song!

4 – Mariah Carey – All I Want For Christmas

This one is probably a predictable one but lets face it Christmas wouldn’t be the same without Mariah prancing around in the snow!

3 – Little Donkey

This is probably one of my out there selections however it has a special meaning to us. This year Kayleigh was in her 2nd pre-school production. Last year she cried her whole way through it however this year she shone bright as the star leading the shepherds to the inn. This song is the one she sings all the time. She has learnt all the words too. We are so proud of her, so this one is dedicated to Kayleigh.

2 – Please, Please, Please let me get what I want – Slow Moving Millie, John Lewis 2011 Advert

Full video :

For 3 years running John Lewis have the best Christmas advert (Not the best ever though!) However 2011 was my absolute favourite. The song is one that makes you just stop and listen, plus the story in the advert is super cute and makes your heart melt.

1 – Coca Cola Advert

Call me cheesy, call me what you like but to me nothing tell’s me its Christmas more than the Coca Cola advert and regardless of what you say I know I’m not alone!

My Facebook wall lit up with comments as soon as it was first spotted on the TV. It is simply an iconic song that everyone associates with Christmas and I’m hoping the smart people at Coca Cola carry on as even Kayleigh and Ethan love it!

So there you have my top 5 Christmas songs, why not leave me a comment and share your favourite.
