All my favourite bits about Autumn

The weather has really changed lately and the darker nights have come in.

However I love Autumn as does our whole household!

Kayleigh and Ethan have been learning about Autumn in school and how the weather changes, leaves fall of trees and the fact it means Christmas is one step closer.

It means however that we can’t get much done outside after work as we leave when it is dark and I return when it is dark, so we have to make the most of the weekends and the empty parks!

So many people stay in doors in this Autumn but they are missing out on so much. A few of our favourite bits are:

  1. Throwing Leaves
  2. Conker Hunting
  3. Looking for new things we wouldn’t normally see
  4. Puddle jumping
  5. Running around in lots of open space with hardly anyone around!

Autumn

This is one of my favourite pictures I’ve taken this Autumn, using my iPhone. It captures everything about Autumn for us.

Kayleigh and Ethan are so inquisitive and have loved finding new things this Christmas and really enjoyed learning all about wild mushrooms and the different shapes and sizes they came in (As well as being told not to touch them! )

I have captured some of our other favourites like these :

Autumn

Autumn really is a beautiful season with so much to see and do, even if the weather isn’t great.

Put on some warmer clothes, head out and explore and then head home for a hot chocolate and marshmallows!

Oh and leaving the house before the sun is completely up in the morning isn’t all bad, you get to capture the sun rising like this:
