BritMums have tried to make the Easter holidays a little bit easier with the supply of yummy Mr Kipling cakes.
However due to work and the run up to the wedding, we never got to open our cakes for a while. So I decided to put them aside and take them with us to the wedding venue to enjoy the night before.
Mr Kipling have been baking exceedingly good cakes since 1967 and now have a huge range of cakes, plies and slices. I’m not a fan of big cakes such as birthday cakes etc however open a box of French fancies or chocolate slices and I’ll be first in the queue! The great thing about some of their cakes is they are individually wrapped portions so perfect for taking on picnics and in lunches.
So cakes packed and the important wedding bits packed we headed to the venue. Once everything was in place and dinner was eaten we headed back to our room to let the kids get ready for bed and whilst they were getting comfortable we sat down for our last night together before coming husband and wife.
Our hotel had kindly provided us a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy and me being super organised I popped out the cakes!
They went down a treat and the perfect end to our life as a couple before becoming Mr & Mrs, being able to relax with some yummy food and drink.
