Good morning and welcome back to another meal plan.
Last week we were pretty much on the plan until the weekend so we just need to work on our weekend eating a little this week! We just seem to get to the weekend and then get lazy, this week I am going to try and plan some tasty meals on those days so we are not tempted to reach for the takeaway menu however we do have a takeaway on a Friday now as part of our family movie night, so this will be factored in to the menu.
Going forward I am going to be looking for more fakeaway menus so we can make our own takeaway if you have any great recipes you have created or even ones you’ve found please pop them in the link below 🙂
Our meal plan – 14/01/19:
Keema curry – Never got round to this last week so it is an easy start to the week.
Pasta – Unsure what with but likely to be a sauce packed with vegetables!
Steak and chips – Easy but delicious.
Chilli con Carne- Still have a portion frozen in the freezer so this is easy but tastes amazing!
Takeaway – Kids will be picking.
Piri Piri chicken with rice and salad – Another meal we never had last week but plan to enjoy it this week.
Roast – As with all our meal plans, this will be decided with the weekly shop depending on what we pick up with the weekly shop.
So, there you have it, our meal plan for the week. Nothing stands out but tasty home cooked meals for us to enjoy this week.
Over the coming weeks, I am going to be trying out some new meals to add to our meal plans too, I will make sure I update you on how they go. For now though if you are after inspiration you can check out our previous meal plans here.
