The last week has been a bit of a busy, so the bonus of Friday being a snow day was very welcomed! It just meant that I had to take a bit of time out which was much appreciated after a few busy weeks.
Although we didn’t head out, the kids did take advantage of it all by heading into our garden to play for a while. The snowman was a bit dinky however they did have a fun snowball fight, before heading back into the warmth for a hot chocolate.
They are both growing up so much lately and with the weeks just flying by of late, I want to take a little bit more time out to appreciate the little things. I’m going to take time out every day just to catch up with how their day has been or the latest news from their favourite games. It might not seem very interesting however to them at the time, to them, it is the most important thing going. Whilst they still want to share this with me, I’m going to make sure I am listening.
