- Speak To Your Boss
Assuming you have a boss and you don’t work for yourself, it could be time to ask for a meeting with them to discuss your workload. They may be able to reduce it for the time being or give you a different kind of work that you feel better equipped to deal with. They may even give you a few mental health days away from work. Even if work isn’t really the problem, explaining your situation to your boss and being transparent will go in your favour if your work does begin to suffer because of what you are going through. Hopefully, they are approachable enough for you to be honest with them.
- Ask For Help
We can’t expect to be superhuman and do everything ourselves all of the time. Some people may be able to do it all somehow, but everybody is different. Most people need help from the people around them. Ask for people to take care of your kids if you need them to. Find help from a licensed therapist. Ask somebody you love if they can do your food shopping for you. Reaching out to people can be scary at first, but you’ll soon realize that the people who love you really want to help you.
- Take Care of Yourself
