Good morning and welcome to our meal plan for October, honestly I have no idea where the months are going. It’s scary to think that once we get to Kayleigh’s birthday this month then there are only 8 weeks until Christmas! It has been such an odd year this year so I am planning to make the most of every moment of the festivities this year.
Back to the meal plans, the last few weeks our meal plans have been, well going to plan.
As Autumn is rolling in we are moving back to comfort food and this is my favourite time of the year. I am planning to put a few new dishes on the menu this week alongside some of our familiar ones! Here is what we have cooking this week.
Our meal plan – 05/10/20
Chicken fajitas – These are quick but popular in this house.
Sausage, chips, egg and beans – Another favourite in our house but yummy.
Moroccan meatball stew – I have no idea how this one will go down but it sounds and looks delicious.
Spaghetti bolognaise – One of my favourite comfort foods.
Takeaway – Time for our weekly “get out of cooking dinner” card!
Teriyaki chicken noodles – Another new recipe this week, hoping for a family success with this one!
Roast – This will all be dependant on what I am able to get from shopping.
I’m unsure at how this week is going to go, however, I love the sound of all the meals on the menu this week. Let’s just hope everyone else does too!
