Good morning and welcome back to another week’s meal plan.
Our last few meal plans have gone well and we recently invested in a pressure cooker, which can also be used as a slow cooker. This week I am going to be trying a few of the recipes from the app that comes with that to see how they go. Over the last few weeks, we have tried a few recipes in there and they have been very tasty, so I have high hopes for them.
With the cold weather here, I have found we are reaching for the winter warmer classics to enjoy on the chillier evenings. With that in mind we are going to be sticking with some hearty meals this week, here’s to hoping the kids enjoy them.
Our meal plan – 19/10/20
Moroccan lamb tagine – This is one of the new recipes I am trying out in the slow cooker, it looks delicious!
Pasta – Something simple but hopefully delicious.
Chicken fajitas – Easy but delicious!
Smoky beef goulash – Another new dish coming up in the pressure cooker.
Takeaway – Time for our weekly “get out of cooking dinner” card! It is Kayleigh’s birthday so she can pick.
Spaghetti bolognese – Packed full of vegetables!
Roast or stew- Depending on what we fancy.
I can’t wait to give the pressure cooker a good run out this week, you can also make rice pudding in there in less than 15 minutes so I plan to give that a go.
