For many of us, we are well into the Christmas build-up. In this house that includes our Christmas shopping as we try and spread the cost over a few months. There are lots of great gift ideas on the market, both in-store and online. However, this post is all about finding the right gifts for loved ones that you might not find on the high street.
Everyone is different and tastes vary, but sometimes you just want to gift that something a little different to what you see online. Here are my top picks on gifts that are a little more unique, perfect for your family and friends.
Antique jewellery –
If you have a jewellery lover, why not get them a gorgeous antique piece such as the range on Carus Jewellery website. They have a wide range of ideas from rings to bracelets and brooches, perfect for all tastes. The one thing that really caught my eye on here though was the antique charms. Lots of us have charm bracelets but you are not likely to find any charms like this mass-produced any more. As they are antique, the stock levels will vary so make sure if you see one that you know is perfect that you snap it up.
I had never thought about buying antique jewellery before, now though, it seems like the perfect gift for so many friends. It is nice to find little treasures such as this charm. They will make a truly unique gift under the tree this year and I would love to hear in the comments which one is your favourite.
They say a dog is a man’s best friend and I don’t think that has been more true than 2020. With many of us finding this year tough, we found comfort during isolation in our four-legged friends. Not only did they bring a sense of calm, but they also reminded us that we needed to get outdoors and take in some fresh air. If you have a dog that has made 2020 a little easier for you, why not treat yourself to one of these gorgeous personalised dog mugs. It is sure to bring a smile to your face.
This one is my kind of gift, anything that involves sweet food is a winner. I know technically this is not food, however, it is perfect for foodies. Whether it be for biscuits, sweets on mince pies, this tray is perfect for those cosy winter evenings. The quote on here is so appropriate for 2020 too. Sometimes you get the feeling that the universe is telling you to slow down and that is what 2020 told me.
These gifts would be perfect for kids too, so if you are looking to get away from the highstreet suggested gifts check them out.
This Christmas, why not take advantage of the store closures during lockdown to find some gifts that are a little different. There are many online stores that offer unique gift ideas perfect for everyone. With a little more time on my hands, I have had time to think a bit more on the gifts we are putting under the tree. If you are looking for unique gift ideas for small children, check out this great guide here.
