How do you get me time in the build up to Christmas?

With Christmas just weeks away it seems like time is whizzing past really fast and you’re not really getting anywhere.

My lunch times are spent running around picking up orders of gifts from various stores and then when you get home you finish off the housework and before you know it, its bed time!

So how do you really relax and destress so you can enjoy the most of the Christmas season?

  1. Be prepared – Make sure you have a list of who to buy from and if you know what you are getting, where to buy from. There is nothing more annoying than running round in busy shops with lots of people when you have little time and walking out with nothing. Once you have your list you can hit the stores in a few trips too, freeing up more time for you to relax!
  2. Have a Christmas free family night – We make Friday night a family night in our house. We make some popcorn, dim the lights and snuggle on the sofa for a film, technology free and just a great way to relax.
  3. Make time for you РJust once a week make time for you in the evening/weekend and do something you love. Be it gaming like me or playing something like bingo on a site such as can be a great way to destress and relax. I played a few bingo sites recently for a little bit of fun and not only won some money but also got cashback at the same time!
  4. Remember its just one day – Christmas day is just that, a day. We put so much pressure on ourselves to be perfect and make it a Christmas to remember but to our loved ones, the only thing that matters is the magic of Christmas and family time.

This Christmas make sure you take time to step back and enjoy it with your family as to me, thats the most important part of the festive season.
