*Review* Green People Organic Toothpaste

Greenpeople have just announced the arrival of their first Certified Organic Toothpaste which has been certified by EcoCert.
They were kind enough to send us a sample of their children’s Mandarin & Aloe Vera organic toothpaste to try.

Now I’m not going to lie, i was a little sceptical about toothpaste being another flavour other than mint but we was willing to give it a try.

As well as being free from chemical nasties and irritants found in most mainstream pastes they have re-formulated their toothpaste so its now free from SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) which studies have shown can trigger mouth ulcers in some individuals. The Aloe vera is included for the soothing on effect on tender gums.

The first thing you notice when you use this toothpaste is its appearance

It doesn’t look like your bright shiny white toothpaste, its appearance is slightly duller where there is no added chemicals to and it is more of a paste consistency.

It does give you the hint of orange smell when you squeeze it out of the tube, which is a lovely smell.

Whilst using it i noticed that it doesn’t foam up like your normal toothpaste would in your mouth, but it still cleans your teeth leaving them lovely and fresh feeling like you would expect from your toothpaste whilst leaving a lovely taste in your mouth.

Overall it was a great product to try and we still use it daily on both of our children, its certainly a different type of toothpaste to what they are used to but after the first few days they got used to it so don’t mind it now.

The children’s toothpaste also comes in spearmint flavour and bother are priced at £3.50 for a 50ml tube.
