Welcome to part 2 of our Butlins Ambassador review and in this one, we are going to look at the site and its facilities themselves!
Butlins over the years has transformed itself and it’s safe to say now that there is plenty to do on-site if you just want to spend a relaxing few days away and with most of it free it’s not going to break the bank.
At Butlins, Bognor Regis there is a whole host of shows put on throughout the day and into the evening so there is something for everyone. During the day we managed to see the Fireman Same, Angelina Ballerina and sesame Street. Then into the evening, you have the chance to go watch live performances and singers throughout the evening.
As well as this there is also an indoor and outdoor play area plus inside there is also a free funfair for the children, this is great if your little ones love rides (Mine, unfortunately, don’t) the only thing there were interested in was the soft play area. This is divided into 2 sections. The bigger section is for the taller/older children and is manned by staff so little ones can’t get on. Then there is the smaller section for those too small to get into the big section, this part, however, is not manned and unfortunately, on all the occasions we were in there it seemed to have 8-year-olds plus taking over. Not really fair on the little ones to have to make do with a much smaller space and big kids to contend with.
Outside there is also a funfair with all the classics such as helter-skelter and dodgems plus a selection of stalls such as hook a duck (please note there is a small charge per ride/stand in this section). This section of the park was a great place to take the kids because even if they were not big enough to ride on some of these rides they loved watching them go.

There is so much more to the site through such as :

- Splash Waterworld
- Bowling
- Pool
- Adventure Golf
- Go-Karts
- The list goes on…
If you are a family who loves to watch the shows and join in with the various activities this is most defiantly the place for you to visit. There is so much going on all the time you would not get bored. For us, Kayleigh and Ethan just wanted to walk along the beach and play in the park so I felt that some of the magic Butlins offered were not fully appreciated.
