*Review* Hallmark Interactive Story Buddy – Abigail & Watson

You may remember a while ago we were fortunate enough to receive Cooper the interactive story buddy, well now there is a new girl in town.

Abigail is a super cute rabbit complete with her gymnastic outfit on and was a huge hit with Kayleigh instantly! Her story is about that of her wish to win in her gymnastics competition but she’s scared of falling of her beam, does she do it? You’ll need to read the book to find out!

I sat with both Kayleigh and Ethan to read this story & Watson’s and they both loved them. I think the whole story buddy reacting to the book amazes children and they don’t want the fairytale teddy story to end!

They are very easy to use, simply turn the story buddy on then start reading the story. You will notice in the book some words are a different colour and it is these that the story buddy reacts to and comments back. I found although you need to room to be quiet it doesn’t have to be silent nor do you need to shout at the story buddy, which is great considering I have 2 toddlers that insist on making the most noise they can. This time round we had the chance to try out the iPhone App too – it is fantastic to have the story read out and the character reply whilst you just sit and watch the smiles on the little ones faces. Also there are extra things on the app, you can record your voice reading the story to play back and there are games too.

Abigail and her pals retail at £19.99 and this includes the first story book, you can also download the app for free plus buy additional books for £5.99. Why not buy your little one something different this easter!
