Christmas gift ideas for foodies!

Some items in this gift guide have been gifted, however, all thoughts are our own

Sometimes it can be a struggle to come up with ideas for gifts, especially as people get older. But one thing that is sure to always be popular food! This guide is all about gift ideas for foodies as sometimes the best way to go is through food and drink!

KitchenAid Pasta Attachment set – RRP £155.00

Christmas gift ideas for foodies!

First up in the gift guide is something that is top of my wish list, the pasta attachment set for a KitchenAid.

Making fresh pasta is something I have always wanted to do but our kitchen is very small in size and workspace so it has not been a priority. My thoughts are though, if I had it on my KitchenAid which is already taking up some of the space, then I wouldn’t need to take up any more space. It simply works off the machine you already have.

These attachments make sheets, tagliatelle, or spaghetti, which means you can make pretty much any recipe you like with it!

Cadbury Double Deck Selection Box – RRP £15

Christmas gift ideas for foodies!

Chocolate is always a winner in this household and you are not going to be disappointed with this double-deck selection box. It contains 11 full-size chocolate bars and a Christmas Selection Pack, enough chocolate to keep you going over the festive period.

I love the fact that these are full-size bars and some that you would not usually see in a selection box, there was a little fight over who got the Boost.

You can’t go wrong with this selection!

Green & Black’s Chocolate Lovers Collection – RRP £25

Christmas gift ideas for foodies!

Ca’ di Rajo “Rosé Brut” Prosecco Treviso DOC Millesimato 2019 – RRP £15.99

This was my favourite out of the pick, this pink prosecco is really light and fruity. Although it would be great in the summer on the decking, it also would make a great drink to share over Christmas dinner or even boxing day nibbles!

Siddùra Fòla Riserva 2018 | Cannonau di Sardegna DOC – RRP £27.95

This red wine would be gorgeous to have with that cheese board in the run-up to Christmas and is a real treat for anyone. It is left to age for 24 months in oak barrels and it has a deep ruby colour,

Made from Cannonau, the iconic black grape of Sardinia, it has recently been noted that these grapes are super-charged with antioxidants, making them the perfect drink over the winter period!

Loacker Schwarhof “Morit”, St Magdalener Classico, Alto Adige DOC 2020 RRP £19.45

This wine has been named one of the top wines of Trentino-Alto Adige in an Italian food and wine magazine and it is clear to see why.

Unlike the wine above, this is more of a refreshing and vibrant wine, with notes of wild strawberry, red cherry, cranberry and raspberry. Don’t be put off though, it is still just as delicious and it is easy to see why it has been voted as one of the top wines.

Christmas gift ideas for foodies!

Kayleigh and Ethan are huge fans of Japan, the food and the Anime, so this gift is right up their street!

As well as coming with 2 gorgeous bowls and ladles, it also includes a recipe book and an introduction to ramen recipes so you can create your own. This sort of gift is one that inspires people to try something a little different that they might not have done before. This gift for Kayleigh has led her down a rabbit hole in learning how to make ramen and the logic behind the recipes.

If you are buying for someone who has already masted cooking ramen, rest assured, this gift set is gorgeous and would look amazing on any dining table.
