*Review* The Fabulous Bakin’ Boys

As you all know we do quiet a bit of baking in this house and very rarely buy cakes to eat but when i was contacted regarding some spooky halloween cakes i was intrigued by the different flavour combinations.

The Fabulous Bakin’ Boys have brought out 2 new flavours for halloween to add to their current products on the market. These are Chocolate n’ Blood Orange and Blackcurrant n’ Apple. See, i told you they were intriguing!

Our cupcakes arrived within a few days (took less time to eat i admit!) and i was impressed. We were fortunate enough to receive the Chocolate n’ Blood Orange to try and the kids and i got straight to it!

The first thing i noticed was the cupcakes were all individually wrapped. This is a great idea for those who want to use them for a party or for things like Kayleigh’s school where she’ll be taking cakes for her birthday, this means they can be transported home without them getting dirty. They all also had a trick or treat on the packaging, giving fun little games like, can you balance a cupcake on your nose for 10seconds (i can! Not sure if i should be proud of that though!)

The cakes themselves are very nice, the sponge part of the cake is moist and the topping is full of flavour whilst still being soft. Making them the perfect match.

These were a big hit in our house and i think they would make a fantastic treat for any trick or treaters at your door or feed any ghouls and ghosts that come to your party!

These cakes are available to buy at your local, Tesco, ASDA, Budgens, Londis, and Dairy Crest for £1 (rrp £1.49) and are great fro the whole family!
