Bathroom Makeover has started!

If you read our blog regularly, you may remember a few months back I won selected items from Victoria Plum’s Pin it to Win it competition.

Due to various reasons we have been putting of getting the bathroom done however following my redundancy we decided to use some of the cash to pay for the bathroom fitting and I’m please to say it has finally started!

We are very lucky that Victoria Plum have kindly donated a few extra bits which means I currently have an entire bathroom waiting in my living room to go into our bathroom once the pipes and floor is ready!

Topps Tiles have also got involved, not only by arranging a discount on our tiles but they have also arranged for us to have Warmup underfloor heating installed, which means the radiator can come off the wall and allows us to have a little more space to play with. The tiles are here and I have to say I love them!

This week my future father in law has come in to fit our bathroom, luckily for us he works for himself and has managed to fit us in. Plus we know that the end result will be nothing short of exceptional, meaning one less thing for me to stress about at this time of the year.

So without further ado here is our current bathroom so far! (Yes we are mad having it done right before Christmas but it is going to look so amazing)

So after just 2 days we have lost the sink, radiator is unplumbed and off the wall and new piping has been out in to feed the hot and cold pipes.

Lots of prep work is being done but it’s still exciting times as we look forward to an amazing bathroom and I’m just looking forward to seeing it completed!
