Getting back on the road

It’s been over 2 1/2 weeks since I last ran and I’m currently sat with my foot elevated stuffing my face with drumstick squashes, the wedding dress diet is going well!

If you are following us on our social media you may have read I finally got my ankle checked out and it turns out I’ve managed to damage the ligaments.

It wasn’t pretty!

The good news is that the swelling is going down and the pain is reducing. It’s also now a bit of a limp rather than a full-blown hop along.

Fingers crossed I’ll be back out running soon.

In the meantime I’ve been doing a bit of window shopping for some new running gear, now I have a very comfortable pair of Running Shoes which I love but other than that I need to get some proper running clothes which are on the way thanks to JD sports (who also stock the Champions football kit which Ethan wants for his birthday along with football boots, what can I say he has good taste!)

I’ve gone for a comfortable top but more importantly a gorgeous bright pair of running clothes.

I don’t see many people just after 6 whilst on my run but one thing for sure I won’t get lost with the bright trousers.

Here’s to hoping I’m back on the road running in the next week or so. I really want to get running again and start toning ready for our big day next year!
