Happy Monday and welcome back to our latest meal plan. Hard to believe we are in the 2nd half of the year already, where did the last 6 months go?
We are amid a heatwave here and although it is lovely, just feel like we are missing a beach here to make the most of it! However, we are still making the most of it none the less.
As like most others I’m sure we are struggling to really make big meals in this heat, so we are sticking to meals we know we love and are not too much hassle to cook, simply because I do not want to be stuck in the kitchen in this heat.
Last week’s meal plan was a bit hit and miss, not helped by the fact I found out Subway now deliver to us….
Here is what we are cooking this week:
Monday –
Sausage, egg and chips – Didn’t make this in the end last week so going to do it this week.
Tuesday –
Fish – Combination of options in the freezer so depends on what people fancy.
Wednesday –
Chicken curry – Going to stick it in the slow cooker and leave it to cook, may do our Rogan recipe if we fancy it.
Thursday –
Pasta – Quick, simple and tasty.
Friday –
Chicken and chorizo risotto – I know I keep saying I will share, I will do this recipe soon!
Saturday –
BBQ – Back out in the garden enjoying the sunshine.
Sunday –
Campfire stew – Love this as it creates so much leftover which is great for lunch. We use this recipe from Pinch of Nom.
