Welcome back to another weekly meal plan post. I have found my meal planning mojo lately and have found it easier to get our meals cooked when I don’t need to think what to have that week.
The weather last week was not great for cooking, the only thing cooking was the inside of our house. However, we had most of the meals on the menu but just moved them around depending on the weather and how we felt. I think next time there is a heatwave lined up, I am going to stock up on this such as salads and meats so people can just have a picky dinner if they choose.
We are this week going to stick to our meal plan a little better if possible. I have some odd bits floating around in the freezer that I want to use up too. I am going to try and introduce a few new meals back into the menu over the coming weeks to try and help get us eating some more different meals.
Here is what we have cooking this week:
Our meal plan – 17/08/20
Monday –
Spaghetti bolognaise – Yummy!
Tuesday –
Sausage, chips and beans – It is simple but it is delicious.
Wednesday –
Takeaway – It’s my birthday so I am not cooking!
Thursday –
Easy Beef Enchiladas – I love the recipes from Easy Peasy Foodie so I looking forward to trying these out.
Friday –
Pizza – I know this is on the menu weekly, however, it’s the one meal I don’t have any arguments from.
Saturday –
Chicken pie – It’s been a while since we had a chicken pie so I’m looking forward to this.
Sunday –
Gammon in the slow cooker – We always seem to have chicken so I am looking forward to something a little different. Depending on the weather it will be with either mash or potatoes and salad.
I am looking forward to this week’s meals and can’t wait to have the gammon this week, it is perfect for salads and sandwiches in the following days.
