Welcome back to this week’s meal plan, how can we be moving into the last week in August already, this month has flown by so quickly.
Meal planning is still going well, so now I am going to tempt fate by trying to get some new meals onto our menu this week. I won’t push it too hard though, we will try just 2 this week and hope they go down well! Fussy eaters are still in force here so I don’t expect this to be very easy.
I feel that although our meal plan is still working well, we are stuck on a bit of a merry go round with the same meals week in and week out.
We eat lots of fruit in our house and that is not a concern for me, I’m just bored with eating the same meals all the time!
Here is what we have cooking at our house this week:
Our meal plan – 24/08/20
Monday –
Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos– This is one meal we are going to try out, let’s hope as tacos are usually a hit everyone enjoys these!
Tuesday –
Chilli con Carne – Been a while so looking forward to this.
Wednesday –
Pizza – Simple but one everyone will eat.
Thursday –
Zesty salmon pasta – Something a little different, I can’t wait to try this.
Friday –
Takeaway – Time for our weekly “get out of cooking dinner” card!
Saturday –
Burger and chips – Another family favourite but it means one less battle!
Sunday –
Slow cooker chicken – We will have this with either salad or as a roast depending on the weather.
I am looking forward to trying out the 2 new meals this week, I just hope that at least 1 of them becomes a success!
