Our weekly meal plan – 29/03/21

Good afternoonn and welcome back to our last meal plan of March.

It is the first week of the Easter holidays here and I am very much looking forward to a break. Just switching off the alarm and not having to get out of the house in the morning is very much welcomed here.

I do have some plans for the blog and home over the next couple of weeks, however, we are just going to see how things go and take it easy.

We have also had a new cooker installed and I am looking forward to trying out some new cake recipes over the coming week for our food blog. Our old cooker was awful, I hated it. It had been playing up so much over the last few weeks so our meal plan last week was all over the place. This one is so much better and we’ve only had it for a few days!

Anyway, let’s get back to this weeks meal plan. This is what we have cooking this week:

Our meal plan – 29/03/21

Monday

Leftover beef curry – We had the most amazing roast beef for dinner yesterday, so I’m using this recipe to make a leftover beef curry.

Tuesday –

Full English breakfast – Can’t beat a good fry up.

Wednesday –

Chicken and mushroom risotto – I’m trying a new dish tonight, I love Pinch of Nom recipes so I’m sure this will be tasty.

Thursday –

Mexican lentil boats – This is the leftovers from a while ago that I froze, it is originally a recipe from

Friday –

Takeaway – We are back to our weekly takeaway treats, I need the break!

Saturday –

Chicken Fajitas – I can’t remember the last time we had these so looking forward to something different.

Sunday –

Roast – I would like a roast lamb for Easter but this will be dependant on cost and availability.

I’m hoping over the coming weeks we will be able to try a few new dishes. The kids are starting to be a bit open to trying a range of new foods, so there is hope yet that we can have a bit of a variety on the menu going forward.
