Debenhams back to school competition

I saw over on the lovely Sonya at The Ramblings of a Formerly Rock’n’Roll Mum that Debenhams were holding a back to school competition for bloggers to win some vouchers.

All you have to do is share a picture of you at school, find out what your kids think of it and then pick out some items from Debenhams that your child would use to recreate the look (more of that over on Sonya’s blog post)

I went with this picture:

Now I would like to say Kayleigh thought I was cute as a child but she just laughed….

Other than the cut scallop collar shirt I’m wearing here, most of these clothes are similar to the ranges that I have just purchased for the kids.

As payback for laughing at me I had the last laugh as we attempted to recreate the picture:

Easier said than done as Kayleigh kept laughing that she felt silly (not to mention not able to see through the glasses!). So instead we went shopping on Debenhams.

We picked the following items from their school range but I love the whole kids range in store (not to mention they sell Faith shoes!) :

2. Debenhams Pack of two girl’s white school blouses

3. Debenhams Pack of two girl’s grey school skirts

4. RJR.John Rocha Designer girl’s black faux fur collar padded coat

5. Debenhams Girl’s black patent bow strap shoes
