It’s time for another picture that sums up our week and this one picture sums up our week pretty well!
Sorry, it is another building picture but that is taking up all our time at the minute.
We are now on the final steps though as we are working through our room. The carpets are due to arrive in less than 2 weeks, so we need to get things moving along as quick as we can. I have to admit though, the amount of work we have to is a little overwhelming, however, we are nearly there.
After a busy 3 1/2 months, we are on what feels like the final stretch. We just need to get through these busy 2 weeks. I do love how far we’ve come however, I feel like we have both reached our limit when it comes to working on the house. It will be nice to get back to some sort of routine.
Currently we are working on our room and it has to be the worse room left. We only live in a small bungalow, so working on our rooms has meant use moving our mattress into the living room. Along with our clothes rail and boxes containing books etc. So it has become a little cramped in our house as things have started to arrive for our room!
With our new room being a bit smaller to allow space for the kids to have their own rooms, we are having to get creative with our storage too. We are using Ikea furniture for our storage (along with an ottoman bed) but we are having to tweak it slightly to fit into our room. It has started to come together though and I can’t wait to see the final room after all the work is complete.
