Good morning and welcome to our meal plan for the week.
The weeks are flying by this year and it is hard to believe we are already in April and back round to another meal plan.
This week we are having basic meals that taste good. With lots going on the plan is just to eat yummy food and not stress too much about what we are cooking.
Over the coming weeks though I have some great recipes I want to try out so can’t wait to give them a go and see how we get on.
For now, though, this is what we are cooking this week:
Monday –
Freezer food – We are without power today due to some emergency work being carried out so it will be quick lazy freezer food when the power I back on.
Tuesday –
Fish – Not sure if we will have tuna pasta bake or smoked haddock so it will all be dependant on how we feel.
Wednesday –
Chicken and chorizo paella – I’ve never made this before and haven’t even found a recipe for it yet so going to just go for it!
Thursday –
Eating out – It is our wedding anniversary so planning a meal out or a lazy takeaway depending on how we feel!
Friday –
Cheeseburgers and chips – We had a delivery from Musclefood (their new wellbeing hamper which comes with a little folder full of tasty recipes to try) which had some delicious looking burgers in it so planning to have these.
Saturday –
Homemade pizzas – The kids loved making these last times so we are having them again.
Sunday –
Our usual roast – As per usual we will have a roast of some sort.
