Our weekly meal plan – 16/03/20

Good afternoon and welcome back to our latest meal plan.

I didn’t get round to meal planning last week, in fact, I didn’t get round to much last week at all. Work has really sucked out all my time lately with everything going on, it seems like the blog had been abandoned for a while, as we adjusted to our new temporary norm. However, I am hoping to get back into the rhythm of blogging again in the next couple of weeks.

Meal planning has been a little interesting too over the last couple of weeks. I have not been able to get a delivery slot for the last 2 weeks and we are avoiding the supermarkets currently. We are basically living out of what we have in the cupboard/freezer and will be getting a delivery from our local greengrocers for the time being.

It’s not ideal, but we are trying to limit the amount of travelling we have to do in order to minimise the spread of the virus.

Here is our meal plan for the week:

Our meal plan – 30/03/20

Monday –

Salmon and potatoes – We’ve not been eating great over the last few

Tuesday –

Pasta – Not sure what sauce but we will work with what we have!

Wednesday –

Peri-peri chicken and sweet potato wedges

Thursday –

Homemade pizza – Not sure how these will turn out but we are going to give them a go.

Friday –

Chilli con Carne – I am going to bulk make some chilli to freeze ready for other meals.

Saturday –

Sausage, mash and beans – Super easy but delicious.

Sunday –

Beef stew – I’ll do this in the slow cooker so there is less work for me!

After this week I am going to be running low on quite a few items and will need to start getting a bit more creative on our dinner choices, for now, though we have food and a roof over our head and for that, I am extremely grateful.
