Good morning and happy summer holidays!
We went into the weekend so pleased it was the holidays, I ended up doing the shopping with no plans in place for dinner this week! Not my best idea however we have some meals already cooked and frozen in the freezer ready to go. Other meals I can make from the ingredients that we have already in the freezer and cupboard.
The meal plan for the week is a little bland, to be honest, it is my own fault for not being prepared this week. It feels like I have given up a little with the planning as there are so many different food preferences, however, I need to get back on it. I hope to get myself a little more organised this week ready for an amazing meal plan next week.
Here is what we have cooking this week:
Our meal plan – 20/07/20
Monday –
Pizza – As I’m not prepared today, we are going with some frozen pizza for dinner!
Tuesday –
Peri-peri chicken & rice – We’ve not had this in a while so looking forward to this.
Wednesday –
Keema curry – One of my prepared meals from the freezer.
Thursday –
Spaghetti bolognaise – Another meal from the freezer!
Friday –
Tuna pasta bake – Super simple to make and tasty too.
Saturday –
Homemade pizza – The kids are cooking one day a week during the holidays, this is the first meal up.
Sunday –
Burger and chips – Simple but quick to make.
This week I am going to do a little bit of research into meals for our family, that will please even the fussiest of eaters. I am slowly making our own family favourites cookbook, it is just taking a while as they are so fussy!
