Here we are the last weekly meal plan of February. I don’t know where this month has gone, but I know it feels like it has flown by, even with homeschooling!
Our meal plan last week, went ok. We had a busy week working on some things around the house, so easy dinners were good for us. This week I plan to add a few new meals back into the plan to try out. Our previous few that we have tried turned out well, I’m just hoping these are a success too.
With us still working from home, it is not too much of a challenge to cook in the evenings. I find it harder to be motivated to cook after being out of the house all day at work. Let’s just hope I stay motivated when we return to work!
One thing I did notice this week is our freezer is almost empty, we have a few more portions of meals that have already been prepared and a few packs of meat. Then I think we will just top up as we go, rather
Our meal plan – 22/02/21
Monday –
Hot dogs – Shifted from last week as we had something else.
Tuesday –
Pulled chicken baked sliders – Another one from the Pinch of Nom book, it looks yummy – we were due to have this last week but moved things around so we never had it.
Wednesday –
Beef enchiladas – Kayleigh found this recipe whilst we were doing some school work and would like to try it, so we are giving it a go!
Thursday –
Pizza pasta – One from the Pinch of Nom book to try out.
Friday –
Peri peri chicken and rice – From the freezer so super easy.
Saturday –
Burgers and chips – We made these a few weeks back and they were delicious, everyone could pick toppings they liked.
Sunday –
Roast – This will all be dependant on what I can get when I do the shopping.
It is a tasty week of meals planned, hopefully, they will all be popular with the family and everything will be eaten up..
