Good morning and welcome back to another weekly meal plan, it is hard to imagine that tomorrow is December. This year has been such a strange year, nothing like we had imagined, however, we have our health and that is something I will be grateful for after this year!
This weeks meal plan we are mixing up some of our family favourites alongside some new dinner ideas which we are testing out for our new blog, which you can find here. We are also changing our takeaway night around this week as we always put our tree up on the 1st, with a takeaway and Christmas songs playing! I am looking forward to festive nights in our house and I can’t wait for the break which is now only a few weeks away.
For now, though, let’s get back to this weeks meal plan:
Our meal plan – 30/11/20
Monday –
Five bean tacos – Let’s see how my meat eaters do with the veggie version.
Tuesday –
Takeaway – It is time to get the tree up! Takeaway and festive tunes as per our tradition.
Wednesday –
Vegetarian curry – Never made a vegetarian curry, but recently I have had them when we have ordered in so looking forward to making my own.
Thursday –
Chilli con Carne – Have this in our freezer so just need to cook some fresh rice.
Friday –
Pizza – Easy but delicious.
Saturday –
Chicken pitta’s and chips – Not much to this but it means everyone can adapt it to their tastes.
Sunday –
Slow-cooked lamb shanks – These are from Costco and are amazing, by far the best we have ever brought.
I am looking forward to seeing if any of our new meals are a success this week, we shall see!
