Good morning and welcome back to our last meal plan of August, it seems crazy that tomorrow is the 1st September and we are back to school already. I just feel like we have blinked and 2020 has disappeared, though maybe some of that has been good with everything going on!
We have tried out a few new dishes recently with mixed responses, but we push on with trying to get Ethan to eat a little more variety when it comes to dinner time.
With us all returning to school and work this week I have decided to stick with a pretty easy meal plan to make our lives that little bit easier. I can imagine after 6 months of no real routine, we are going to find this whole week pretty tough going.
Here is what we are cooking this week:
Our meal plan – 31/08/20
Chicken curry – I may go for a Rogan using this recipe or a tikka masala depending on what people fancy.
Chilli con Carne – Using up a portion from the freezer.
Pizza – First day back at school, so it is a quick throw it in the oven dinner!
Sausage & chips – A simple dinner that will be eaten by all.
Takeaway – Time for our weekly “get out of cooking dinner” card!
Roast – This depends on the weather and what is on offer when I do the shopping.
It is a pretty easy week in terms of meals and I am hoping by the time we crawl our way to the weekend we are sticking to the plan!
