Peri Menopause Hydrolysed Marine Collagen Drink Review
#We have kindly been gifted some Revive Collagen – Peri Menopause Hydrolysed Marine Collagen Drink to try and review, this, however, does not influence our opinion in this post
Perimenopause is a stage that brings plenty of changes — from fluctuating hormones to shifts in skin, hair, mood, and energy levels.
As I have gotten older, more and more of these symptoms have started to appear, yet getting anywhere with the GP is almost impossible.
Like many women, I’ve been searching for natural ways to support my body during this transition. Collagen supplements, particularly marine collagen, kept coming up in my research. So, I decided to try a hydrolysed marine collagen drink designed specifically with women in perimenopause in mind. After several weeks of consistent use, here are my honest thoughts.

Why Collagen During Perimenopause?
Collagen is the most abundant protein in our body, responsible for maintaining skin elasticity, joint health, hair strength, and even gut lining. However, as we age, natural collagen production declines — and hormonal changes in perimenopause can speed that process up. The result? Fine lines may deepen, skin can feel drier, and joints or muscles might ache more than they used to.
That’s why collagen supplementation has become so popular. Marine collagen, in particular, is known for being easily absorbed because of its smaller peptide size when hydrolysed, making it a promising choice for women going through hormonal changes.
The Product I Tried
- Type: Peri Menopause Hydrolysed Marine Collagen Drink
- Designed for: Women in perimenopause
- Claimed benefits: Support skin elasticity, reduce fine lines, improve hair/nail strength, aid joint health, and support overall wellbeing
- How to take: You can drink this straight from the sachet, 1 a day.
I appreciated that this wasn’t just another generic collagen powder — it was specifically marketed for women like me, which made me curious to test it out properly.

My Experience
Taste & Ease of Use
These sachets are passionfruit flavour, and I would say they are quite strong. For me personally, I have a bit of an issue with flavoured drinks following several colonoscopies, so it was key for me to be able to tolerate the flavour and texture.
I choose to just drink straight from the sachets every morning, and that worked well for me, it is quite strong in passionfruit flavour, but I liked it.
Skin, Hair & Nails
My nails have been weak since I had acrylics added, and my hair has started to thin more over time.
Whilst taking these, I noticed that my nails were no longer splitting or cracking as much as they had done previously. There was also a definite improvement in how much hair felt like it was falling out during that time, too.
I didn’t really notice much difference in my skin, but it was only 2 weeks in and with the other improvements, I was more than happy.
Joints, Sleep & Energy
Over the last 18 months, my sleep has been much more sporadic, mainly down to achy joints and hot flushes!
I didn’t notice a huge shift in this during the trial of the collagen, but towards the end, I was starting to get more solid sleep. I am sure if I were to continue taking these, I would notice an improvement long-term.
Side Effects or Downsides
During the 2-week trial of these sachets, I couldn’t say I had any side effects or noticed any downside. For those thinking of trying them, I would recommend giving yourself time with them to see and feel the full benefits.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I found the hydrolysed marine collagen drink to be a supportive addition to my perimenopause wellness routine. While it’s not a magic fix — and results definitely take consistency and time — I did notice stronger nails and hair improvement, along with some sleep help toward the end.
For me, the biggest plus was that it felt like a simple daily ritual that targeted multiple concerns at once. If you’re considering collagen supplementation during perimenopause, I’d say it’s worth trying — just keep in mind that everyone’s results will vary, and patience is key.
