Saving money this Christmas

So now we are only just 8 weeks away from Christmas, our thoughts are turning to the big day!

With lots currently going on this year, finances are being stretched to the limit this year however you can still have the most magical day without breaking the bank.

  • Always look for a coupon to use – Whenever I am about to make purchases I always do a quick search for discounts on a  UK Coupon code search engine lots of stores offer online codes to help get the costs down or to offer out free delivery. Even though it may only be a small saving at times, it soon adds up. This page for The White Company voucher codes for example gets you 10% off, including sale items!
  • Look out for the big sale events – All the big stores offer big sale events up in the build up to Christmas so make sure you are ready to take advantage of them. Amazon always do a Black Friday event which you can get some great deals on. Be prepared with a list of what you want to get and then get ready to make the most of the deals! Don’t forget to use Amazon coupon too, making sure you get the best of the offers.
  • Cashback – I say this to everyone I speak to, make sure you use cashback sites! The main ones are Quidco and Topcashback, these offer you a wide range of cash backs on different purchases, not just on shopping but also on taking things out such as insurances etc.

These are just a few ways to save some money this Christmas, there is so many ways you can get the things you want without paying full price and breaking the bank. What other great ways have you found about getting a great deal on your Christmas gifts this year?
