Taking the positives out of life

Taking the positives out of life

This year been pretty tough going for everyone.

I spent so many months trying to balance out everything, just like the rest of the world pretty much. It has however given me a bit of time to take the positives out of life and made me realise that there is so much more to it.

Over the last year or so, I’ve been bouncing around on my blog and stream without really having a focus on where I was going with either or my plans for the long term. It was just a let’s see what happens approach with them both and hope for the best. Any money made was just being spent on what we like with no long term plans for it.

Fast forward to now and it has pretty much all changed. I have a plan for this blog and the other 2 that I now have, I’ve been busy working behind the scene on creating what should be a nice little collection. For the first time in months, I’m actually motivated to write, something that I have been struggling with for a while.

I lost my blogging mojo last year, felt a little like I was drowning in a sea of blogs. Let’s face it, blogging has changed a lot since I started blogging almost 9 years ago. Blogs come and go, expectations are raised and there becomes a time when you do start to think is this it for me, have I reached the end of the road?

Now I blog for me, this is my space. There is no expectations from me or plans to reform this blog with the “norm” and I love it. Just today I have written over 1000 words without any effort at all, it is just flowing for me.

This time has also given me a chance to start planning long term where I would like to be, these plans change all the time but now I have my first goal set and in my site. There will be lots of changes, late nights and no doubt tears but I am more determined than ever.

With so much time to be able to think, it has made me value my health also. I am extremely grateful that we have our home and are healthy, this is something I would never take for granted. Our priorities have changed without focus and this has made us a little more determined every day.

Every day I will be grateful for what we have and appreciate it all.

Every day I will be grateful for the passion blogging brings and the future that it can bring alongside it.

Every day I will wake up grateful for the change to be one day closer to our goal.

After all, every day is a gift!

A negative mind will never give you a positive life
