Mummy vs Work: Streamline Your Life (We Use Cookies)

Cooking With Mummy 09/09/11

Hello & Welcome to our first ever cooking with mummy!

So here is how this will work. Every week I will post a new recipe on a Friday for you to try, the following Thursday I will post up a linky thread for you to come and link your post to how it went (pictures will be great!)

It’s all about having fun and enjoying cooking with your children 🙂

So the first recipe was provided by Utterly Scrummy for an easy pizza base!

  • 1 cup (8oz) plain flour (You can use self-raising flour just leave out the baking powder)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • ½ cup (250ml) milk
Sift the flour and baking powder (if using) and add the oil and milk.   Mix together to form a stiff dough.  Add your toppings, take care not to overload the pizza otherwise the base will be soggy, and bake at 220C for approximately 10 minutes until base browns and the toppings are cooked through.

For more great family recipes please pop over to Utterly Scrummy, you can also find them on twitter !

Have fun & I can’t wait to see your creations! Please feel free to add the badge to your blog post :
