10/06/2012 – Day 162

I know its early for the picture of the day but I captured this early this morning and it reminded me of a poem which I thought is perfect for a Sunday thought of the day 🙂

Sometimes you get discouraged

Because i’m small

And always leave my fingerprints

On furniture and walls

But everyday I’m growing

I’ll be grown up some day

And all those tiny handprints

Will Surely fade away

So, here’s a final handprint

Just so you can recall

Exactly how my fingers looked

When I was very small

This is so true as my beautiful baby girl is growing into a gorgeous little girl.

I have a very similar poem with a handprint that my son made at playgroup back in 1988, I have it laminated and stashed away
