Our weekly meal plan – 23/07/18

Good afternoon and welcome to another meal plan.

It is a bit later than usual today as I’m just in a bit of a lazy mood now I’m on my holidays, we are not going away, however, being fortunate to have a term time holiday means I am now off for 6 weeks which I have been looking forward to!

The meal plan this week is a bit lazy if I’m honest as it has just been too hot and I’ve been too tired to really think about it. From next week though I plan to try and cook a bit more and use a few more new recipes on the family to get us trying out new meals.

Nothing fancy, just quick home cooked meals we can all enjoy.

This is what we are having this week:

Monday –

Tuna pasta bake – No thinking required on this one which makes it a winner!

Tuesday –

Pancakes – I’ve been promising the kids I will do them pancakes so that is the choice for today.

Wednesday –

Lemon chicken with Mediterranean vegetable – Super simple but packed with flavour.

Thursday –

One pot chorizo spaghetti – We tried this last week and it was delicious, so I can’t wait to try it again.

Friday –

Fish & chips – lazy dinner!

Saturday –

Homemade pizzas – The kids loved making these the first time we tried it so we are going to give them another go.

Sunday –

Slow cooker chicken & salad – We will make homemade bread and enjoy it with salad.

Nothing fancy really, just simple home cooked meals this week that do not require too much time being spent in the kitchen.

How are you finding cooking in this heat? I would love to hear your inspirations on easy meals in the heat, you can check out our other meal plans here.
