Good morning and welcome back to this week’s meal plan. It’s hard to imagine we have already had 4 weeks off, where has that time gone!?
Last weeks meal plan went ok, we did switch a few meals around but it went ok in the end. The shopping bill was down so that was a positive, 2 takeaways though didn’t help!
This weeks meal plan is going to go to plan. I am starting the week positively so it comes outright. We’ve not really tried many new recipes this month so I am going to try and change that this week by adding three to this weeks meal plan.
Our meal plan – 19/08/19
Monday –
Takeaway – It’s my birthday today and tradition in this house is to have a takeaway on your birthday. Not sure what we will be having yet, we will decide later.
Tuesday –
Hunters chicken – I’ve had this when we have eaten out but never tried to make it at home, I am going to try this recipe.
Wednesday –
Pizza – Kayleigh’s request from last week.
Thursday –
Sweet potato curry – In a bid to reduce our meat intake I am going to try and make this curry tonight and see how it goes down.
Friday –
Chilli con Carne- We have some in the freezer so this makes it a quick meal for us.
Saturday –
Peri-peri chicken burgers – Easy Peasy Foodie has some great recipes on her site, this one looks delicious and I can’t wait to give it a try.
Sunday –
Roast – This will again be dependant on what is on offer when I do the shopping.
I’m looking forward to trying out some of our new recipes this week, it will make a nice change from our usual meal plans.
