Happy half term and welcome back to another weekly meal plan. I don’t know about anyone else but I am looking forward to having a week off, no homeschooling and no work planned.
Last weeks meal plan went ok, kids were a bit fussy, however, everyone tried everything. That is all I ask really, open up their minds to trying dishes that they don’t think they like.
This week, we are going to continue with the different meals being added to our meal plan. We are going to combine it with some favourites with some new options to see if we can reach a happy medium with everyone eating. As it is half term, I plan some easy options to make it easy.
Here is what we have cooking at our house this week.
Our meal plan – 15/02/21
Monday –
Pulled chicken baked sliders – Another one from the Pinch of Nom book, it looks yummy.
Tuesday –
Pancakes – We can’t let pancake day pass without having pancakes!
Wednesday –
Spaghetti bolognaise – Still using up some bolognaise that I made a while back.
Thursday –
Tuna pasta bake – This went down well last time so hopefully it will have the same success this time.
Friday –
Indian feast – I’m planning to replace our takeaway with a homemade feast of chicken Rogan, homemade naan bread and Bombay potatoes.
Saturday –
Hot dogs & chips – We have hot dogs at the weekend for lunch some times, so I thought I’d add some chips and make it into a dinner option!
Sunday –
Beef stew – I’ll slow cook this with dumplings, delicious.
I can’t wait for the meals this week, they are all favourites in this house apart from today which is new. So I am hoping that there is not much resistance to dinner this week.
