I am so delayed in posting this report due to my operation that I did think about leaving it and just picking up on September however I wanted to keep going with these to inspire me to improve on the next month.
August was a bit of an odd month with everything pretty much stopping dead in the middle of the month due to my operation. It was a mad rush up until then and then pretty much nothing for the rest of the month or even into early September.
In July’s working from home earnings report I set myself a target of £500 for the whole month. This allowed for the fact I would only be able to work on it for a few weeks.
Matched Betting – £489.65
This is up on last month which is a bonus plus showing a constistant £400+ a month extra earnings can be made from matched betting on a consistent basis.
I know some people are dubious about it and think of it as gambling, I’ve wrote a post about my thoughts on it all on the blog.
If you did want to give it a go, head over to Profit Accumulator and you can give it a go before you sign up to their site.
Blog/Freelance work (Pre-tax) – £317.00
The blog is coming along nicely really with bits of work. Lots of this work however is from previous months so I am expecting my income in September’s report to be down.
August total – £806.65
I am really pleased I smashed my target for £500 as it gives me the inspiration to keep going the next month.
September’s targets –
- Aim for £500 total extra income – again its taking me a while to get back on my feet so I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself this month.
- Finish my affiliate course – I am looking at ways to increase my monthly income so I have signed up to an affiliate course to boost my knowledge and hopefully boost my income.
- Set myself more targets – I really want to start planning and being more organised but I would like to do things to push myself a bit more but also work on a variety of ways to make extra money.
- List on eBay – I still haven’t done this yet! I need to clear out before Christmas comes though!
Are you working on earning extra at home? I’d love to hear how you have got on.
