Anyone else struggling to get motivataion to cook in the heat?! We are melting here however we will keep on meal plan this week to save money.
This week we are back into a manic week again with lots of things going on. This combined with the heat means this week I think we will go for quick meals that require little time standing in front of the cooker!
I brought a new cookbook last week from the BBC program, Eat Well for Less. They have some delicious recipes on there so hoping we can incorporate a few into our meal plans in the coming weeks.
Monday –
Pasta with spinach – Swimming again, so super easy dinner tonight.
Tuesday –
Homemade doner kebabs – Inspired by Eat Well for Less I am going to give their home made kebabs a go.
Wednesday –
Jacket potatoes – Depending on the heat I may make chilli jacket potatoes but we will see.
Thursday –
Smoked haddock & potatoes – So simple but delicious.
Friday –
Chicken Tikka – Again another recipe from Eat Well for Less.
Saturday –
Tandoori salmon – lovely and simple from Tesco food this recipe is becoming a firm favourite.
Sunday –
BBQ – Depending on the weather we may have a BBQ but we will see how it its looking towards the end of the week.
