One thing I love about blogging is everyones journey is different and it is always evolving. With new bloggers appearing all the time I love that this series gives you the chance to discover new blogs like todays one. Clare is a new blogger over at Freddies Mummy UK and shares her adventures with the family on her blog.
I will leave you with her now to share her journey so far, if you are looking to start blogging this is a great place to start.
Tell us a little bit about you & your blog:
Hi my name is Clare and I am a new blogger at Freddies Mummy UK. I blog about absolutely everything we get up to or love as a family. I have just turned 40 and I live with my bearded 50 year old husband and our 8 year old son Freddie.
What inspired you to start blogging?
I am a stay at home mum, and as Freddie is 8 years old now I thought it was time for me to get back to work. I love writing and so I started this blog in October 2017, but have only really concentrated on it this year.
What has been your highlight of blogging?
As I have only been blogging for a couple of weeks really there are so many firsts and highlights. But the main one would have to be when friends read my blog, and they like it! I haven’t told many people about my blog so it is nice when friends stumble upon it.
Is there anything you have learnt about blogging which you wish you knew when you started out?
I wish I realised how hard it is! Its not just a case of writing your stories, but you have to try and promote it and share it so people actually read it!
Bloggers sometimes get a lot of stick however many work really hard and are reaping the rewards, what has been the most rewarding part of blogging for you?
The most rewarding part of blogging for me is still being able to work from home. I spend more hours than I should on my blog, but I love it.
What would be your 1 tip you would give all new bloggers starting out?
I would say that if you are not willing to give it 110% don’t bother. It is very rewarding and enjoyable, but it takes a lot of work and if your heart isn’t in it, don’t do it.
Who do you find inspiring to read/watch in the blogging world?
There are so many bloggers I look to for inspiration but my favourites are probably Toby & Roo and Rainy Day Mum.
Lastly – do you have any big plans/dreams for your blog in the next 12 months?
As I am new to blogging my focus this year is to keep up the momentum and just keep enjoying the writing.
